SA-R-GA-5 The Auditing Rules outline the requirements during the audit process and how the CBs and their auditors shall carry out the assessment of the standard. This document replaces Chapter 2 of the previous Certification and Auditing Rules.
This policy aims to align the requirements of the Rainforest Alliance standard applicable to intermediaries in the context of cocoa production in Latin American countries. The requirements mentioned in this policy are intended to assist cocoa producers in the implementation of the Rainforest Alliance program.
The policy guides the interpretation and implementation of requirements 5.2.1, 5.2.2 and 5.2.3 for the conditions of the Costa Rican banana and pineapple sector and establishes the conditions of applicability for the Permanent Committees that coexist with unions. It also instructs on the assessment and implementation in three stages.
This policy exception has been developed to support the traceability reporting process for tea certificate holders.
An exception to the Rainforest Alliance Standard mass balance and temporary supply shortage rules have been granted to orange juice certificate holders.
