The aim of this policy is to align requirements of our Certification Rules and Sustainable Agriculture Standard with local legislation requirements in Brazil.

This document sets out the certification procedure for (currently RA 2017 or UTZ certified) high and very high risk groups in Côte d’Ivoire applying for a transition audit for the October 2021 harvest season.
The 2020 Rainforest Alliance Sustainable Agriculture Standard will become binding on July 1, 2021 for all crops. Certificate holders will have until June 30, 2022 to undertake their first audit to this standard.
