The Rainforest Alliance has been recognized as one of the most inspiring non-profit organizations in the Netherlands according to the ‘Inspiring 40’ rank. In the just revealed study, conducted by impact consultancy Synergie, we have been placed at the tenth position, closely behind WWF, and with The Ocean Cleanup at number 1. The study shows that inspiring non-profit organizations are the real drivers of change and acceleration. They bring movement where others stand still. They look to the future where others look at the past.
Among the 40 organizations operating in healthcare, education, environment, the Rainforest Alliance is the only one active in the food sector. The Rainforest Alliance was found to be inspirational based on our openness about the urgency to make a positive impact on the world through meaningful actions and practical solutions, as well as our well-defined global vision, and our commitment to transparency and authenticity.
“We’re truly honored to be acknowledged as a top inspiring organization,” says Maurice van Dort, Strategic Account Manager for the Netherlands. “Together, we can make a positive impact and create a better world. Our alliance has always been about uniting the right mix of people— community leaders, farmers, workers, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and millions of individuals around the globe. Each of us has a role to play.”
