The 2020 Rainforest Alliance 2020 Sustainable Agriculture Standard entered into force in July 2021. In the spirit of continuous improvement that is at the core of our Certification Program, we aim to maintain close dialogue with our stakeholders on how specific areas of our program are applied. This open communication allows us to further tailor our program and improve its applicability, strengthening its future potential to make sustainable agriculture the new normal.
In an effort to better understand the needs of the flower sector specifically, we have been working with People and Purpose, a Colombia-based consultancy, to gain understanding into how we might further support the implementation of our program across the value chain. In the coming weeks, People and Purpose will be reaching out to diverse actors, including producers and retailers, to seek input about their experiences with our certification program.
Your participation can help shape and strengthen the future of Rainforest Alliance flower sector strategy. If you would like to be part of this consultation, and have not been approached by early March, please get in touch with Eliana Orduz Acero.
