Paul Rubacha is a Co-Founder and Principal of Ashley Capital. Founded in 1984, Ashley Capital has become one of the largest privately held industrial real estate investment companies in the United States. The firm has offices in Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit, Florida, and New York. Ashley’s current portfolio stands at approximately 35 million SF.
Prior to co-founding Ashley Capital, Paul served in senior capacities within the Real Estate Departments of Goldman Sachs, Citibank, and Prudential Insurance Company. He holds both an undergraduate degree and MBA from Cornell University.
Mr. Rubacha participates in a variety of community and charitable organizations. At Cornell University, Mr. Rubacha has served as a Board Chairman of its Real Estate Alumni Association, Real Estate Investment Subcommittee, and Graduate Program in Real Estate. In addition, he has served for over a decade in the College of Architecture Advisory Board.
As a longtime advocate for real estate at Cornell, Mr. Rubacha has been a key supporter of the vision to expand and enhance the real estate program which integrates finance, development, and the built environment in an unprecedented way. In 2022, Mr. Rubacha provided a foundational gift to establish the Paul Rubacha Department of Real Estate.
In 2023, the University recognized Mr. Rubacha’s leadership and contributions with an appointment to the University’s Board of Trustees.
Mr. Rubacha serves on the Board of Trustees of the Rainforest Alliance, which is committed to creating a more sustainable world and is active on four continents. Previously, he participated as an executive committee member of numerous community and non-profit educational boards.
Mr. Rubacha was raised in Rochester, NY and now resides with his wife in Miami, Florida.
