As Senior Director of West and Central Africa, Nadège provides strategic, technical, and institutional leadership for high-performing teams in Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She brings over 20 years of experience in sustainable development, advisory practice with international NGOs, and forestry to her role at the Rainforest Alliance.
Nadège is responsible for defining the strategic direction and annual plans in the countries of West and Central Africa. She leads integrated program design, implements high-quality standards, and builds partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders, especially producers, civil society organizations, corporations, and governments. She joined the Rainforest Alliance in 2014, where she began leading the organization’s interventions and growth in Central Africa to make responsible business a “new normal.”
Prior to the Rainforest Alliance, Nadège worked at the Netherlands Development Organisation (SNV) for 11 years as Advisor in Forestry & Environment. She holds two Master’s of Science: one in forest and wildlife management from the University of Dschang (Cameroon) and the other in forestry from the University of Bangor (United Kingdom).
