Jon’s professional career spans over three decades, during which he has held key executive roles at top technology companies, including Apple, Amazon, and Hewlett Packard. He has been a part of the teams behind groundbreaking products like Amazon’s Kindle and FireTV, as well as contributing to the development of the iPhone’s camera.
Beyond his corporate accomplishments, Jon co-founded The Kilgoris Project, a network of 12 schools in Western Kenya serving the Maasai community. Over the past 20 years, the project has provided education, healthcare, clean water, and meals to tens of thousands of students.
As a widely published conservation and natural history photographer, Jon’s work has appeared in leading global publications such as TIME, The New York Times, The International Herald Tribune, Wall Street Journal, UNESCO, The Nature Conservancy, Africa Geographic, Conservation International, The Guardian, CNN, The Telegraph, and Outdoor Photographer.
