Dr. Anurag Priyadarshi is a member of the Rainforest Alliance Board of Directors since 2018 and was on the UTZ Supervisory Board before that. He is an Indian national who is the Head of Environment at Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages (HCCB), a unit of Coca Cola in India. Prior to that he was the Director of Sustainability at Tata Consumer Products.
Dr. Priyadarshi brings over 20 years of experience in sustainable agriculture and sustainability in industries such as beverages, textiles, electronics etc. He is on the Board of Ethical Tea Partnership UK and a founding member of trustea – the India Sustainable tea program. He is a winner of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Award for Chemical Leasing in 2010. He is also the Chair of the India Plastics Pact Advisory Committee which is convened by WRAP UK, WWF and the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII).
Dr. Priyadarshi holds Master’s degrees in Chemistry and International Relations, and a doctorate degree in Sustainable Development and Environmental Management from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
